On May 18, 2020, Unified Under Hope (UUH) and National Arab American Medical Association Next Gen. (NAAMA) held its Meditate for Medical Heroes event with the one and only, Ms. Ruby Siada.
In an effort to raise money for Michigan's COVID-19 medical personnel, UUH and NAAMA held a virtual yoga session led by Ms. Siada. The event was a massive success. With over 30 participants and a minimum $5 donation required, we were able to raise nearly $500!
We cannot thank NAAMA and Ms. Siada enough for their impactful and supportive efforts. Because of them, and our many yoga participants, $500 dollars worth of PPE was able to be donated to Wayne County Healthy Communities (WCHC) doctors, nurses, and medical staff.
