Yara Rashad

Yara is an associate attorney in Chicago with experience in tutoring and mentoring. Yara graduated Summa Cum Laude from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Arts and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Throughout her academic career, Yara has achieved consistently high marks in advanced reading, writing, and history courses. She is also a member of several prominent honors societies, including Pi Sigma Alpha and Pi Gamma Mu.

While in college, Yara worked at the academic writing center where she reviewed and edited college essays and other written work. In law school, Yara assisted first, second, and third year law students with their coursework as a Teachers’ Assistant. When working with students, Yara primarily focuses on strengthening reading comprehension, revising written work product, and test preparation. In her free time, Yara likes to ride her bike, play tennis, and read a good book.
